The application is YAPOLYAK, which is the Polish word for "yap" and "olaj" (teach). The application is aimed at learners of the Polish language and allows them to improve their vocabulary and understand Polish grammar better.
YAPOLYAK contains the following:
The first part contains a dictionary. Here, the user can choose from various topics, which will appear as a card on the screen. If the user selects the word, he will hear its pronunciation, see an example of use, and also find the conjugation of the verb in the card. The user can mark the word as learned or not learned. If the user chooses the "Don't know" option, the application will ask him the word.
The second part contains the word cards. Each card contains the word, its pronunciation, an example of use, and also the conjugation of the verb.
The third part contains the learning tasks. In each task, the user will be asked a question. The user will be able to choose the correct answer from various options. If the user chooses the "Don't know" option, the application will give him an example of the correct answer.
The fourth part contains the conjugation of the verbs. The user will be asked a question, and he will have to choose the correct answer.
